8th November 2009 This morning Steve Williams, along with his colleagues, Councillor Chris Blakeley and Councillor Simon Mountney attended the Remembrance Day Service at the Cenotaph at the Royal British Legion, Pasture Road, Moreton. Steve said, "The service was conducted by Branch Chaplain, Barrie Redmore, and was very well attended, I guess today there was around about 250 people attending. Simon laid the wreath on behalf of Wirral Council, and I laid a wreath on behalf of the Moreton, Saughall Massie and Leasowe Conservatives."
