So Nasty!

14th November 2009  Today the people of Moreton have witnessed a new low in the tactics of a political party in Wirral.     Labour is fighting an increasingly desperate campaign in the Moreton West & Saughall Massie by-election, just trying to secure second place above the Independent candidate.

The by-election follows the sad and tragic death of  Suzanne Moseley, aged just 47, from a brain haemmorhage.    Suzanne had been one of the three Conservative Councillors for the ward, since 2003, until her untimely death.

Conservative candidate for the by-election, Steve Williams said, "today, the Labour leaflet has criticised the record of the Conservative councillors for the area over the last few years.    If they want to attack Chris Blakeley or criticise Simon Mountney, then thats ok, they can both defend themselves.    But to condemn the record of a well loved and well respected Councillor who has died, and in such a sad and tragic way is an utter, and total disgrace.

"All those people in Moreton and Saughall Massie who knew Suzanne, who liked Suzanne and who were grateful for her work on their behalf will have their chance to comment on Labours disgusting tactics on November 26."
